# Shipping, Returns, and Warranty

Hornet Watersports policy pages are the source of truth for shipping, returns, exchanges, and warranty questions.

## Warranty
Hornet states that dragon boat paddles are covered by a 3-year warranty from the original purchase date and all other products are covered by a 1-year warranty. The warranty applies to manufacturing defects, not damage caused by use, impact, contact with a boat or another paddle, normal wear, misuse, poor handling, or transportation.
The original purchaser should keep proof of purchase. Hornet reviews claims case by case and may request the order number, product photos, and a description of the issue.
Warranty claims in the USA require a USD 25 handling fee. International warranty claims require a USD 50 handling fee, or the customer may contact the local dealer where the purchase was made.
## Returns and exchanges
For USA orders, Hornet accepts returns and exchanges of unused items purchased through Hornetwatersports.com within 30 days of the purchase date. Items must be unused, in new condition, and returned in the original box or packaging with tags if applicable.
All returns require a Return Authorization. Customers should contact `info@hornetwatersports.com` with their order number and return details before sending anything back.
Customers are responsible for return shipping and valid tracking. Refunds are applied to the original payment method for merchandise only; original shipping charges are not refunded. Clearance items are final sale.
Hornet does not accept returns or exchanges on international purchases.
## Shipping
Hornet states that in-stock orders ship by USPS or UPS within 1 to 2 business days after receipt. Orders ship Monday through Friday, and orders received on weekends or holidays ship on the next business day.
Customers should contact `info@hornetwatersports.com` within 24 hours to request an order change. Hornet says it will do its best to accommodate changes, and express shipping is available upon request.
